Create a logo and design and code a matching homepage for the LI ZOO.
Logo:
Simple and clean, created this logo from a vector wildcat and added the company’s name, location, and telephone number.
Website Version 1: For this homepage, I wanted something unique, as well as something that would catch the interest of both the young and the old alike. I believe I captured this with the use of a combination of custom graphics and great stock photography. The images of the monkey and the animals in the slide show give this piece some great depth, as well as a warming invitation to “come on in”, as the critters look out at you. I also made sure to code custom graphics into the background giving the illusion of a fence or wall made of reed on either side. As you re-size the browser, you will see how the custom graphics come into play as they slide along making sure to move the entry way (the slide with the animals looking out) while not breaking the design.
Website Version 2: Just a slight change in version 2. I wanted to give the client a color choice. They can choose either a lighter or darker scheme for the background, and the monkey can always be brought back in.
